A licensed counselor, Dr. Ed Welch has a PhD in neuropsychology from University of Utah and is a counselor and faculty member at the Christian Counseling & Educational Foundation. He has been counseling for more than 35 years and has written extensively on the topics of depression, fear, and addictions. His books include A Small Book for the Anxious Heart; When People Are Big and God Is Small; Shame Interrupted; Side by Side; and most recently Created to Draw Near. He blogs regularly at CCEF.org. Ed and his wife, Sheri, have two married daughters and eight grandchildren.
